Transport Minister Kazem al-Hamami said in a press statement: "The ministry has made strides in reviving the fishing company, and there are contacts with ministries of agriculture, oil and planning in this regard."
Hamami pointed out that "the ministry began as a first step to grant passports to fishermen working in the private sector so that they can work more freely, but this measure does not dispense with the existence of a company specializing in fishing," adding: "The headquarters of the company will be in the district of FAO at Its foundation, will provide a lot of jobs. "
