Hakim to Trump envoy: Iraq's relationship with Iran must be taken into account
"The chances of the national majority project are imminent," he said. "The importance of taking into consideration the special circumstances of Iraq and its relationship with Iran is important.
Al-Hakim, according to a statement issued by his office, the US envoy to the International Coalition Against Terrorism, Bert Magurk, and stressed Iraq's urgent need for a strong government and able to meet the aspirations of the Iraqi people according to conditions set by the Supreme Religious Reference.
He pointed out that "the chances of the national majority project are imminent and has been clarified from before, especially as we approach the ratification of the Federal Court on the results of the elections."
He pointed to the importance of "constructive dialogue to end the state of conflicts in the region so that their people can live in peace and move to improve their development," pointing to the "repeated rejection of the policy of starving peoples."
