The finance ministry announced on Monday that its minister, Fuad Hussein, was officially inaugurated as deputy prime minister for economic affairs.
The ministry said in a statement received that "Fouad Hussein began his duties as Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs in his office in Baghdad and met with the advanced cadre in the office in addition to the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Finance and Inspector General of the Ministry and heard an explanation of the functions of the Office and the most important files that fall within the Responsibilities in addition to the Committee on Economic Affairs. "
The statement quoted Hussein as stressing "the need to draw up a clear and clear economic and financial policy in the medium and long term." He stressed that "the oil revenues and the rest of the resources and financial revenues should be used to build investment projects and a strategy to maximize imports and not rely on unilateral resources" .
Hussein pointed to the importance of "promoting the industrial, agricultural and tourism reality and supporting the private sector in order to stimulate the economy and create jobs." Ending / 25
