Abdul Mahdi's office: The caretaker government will hand over its duties to the President of the Republic next Thursday

Said [url=https://www.thebaghdadpost.com/ar/Story/t/133659/%D9%88%D9%84%D9%8A%D9%85 %D9%88%D8%B1%D8%AF%D8%A9]William Rose[/url] , a spokesman for the Information Office of outgoing Prime Minister [url=https://www.thebaghdadpost.com/ar/Story/t/17227/%D8%B9%D8%A7%D8%AF%D9%84 %D8%B9%D8%A8%D8%AF %D8%A7%D9%84%D9%85%D9%87%D8%AF%D9%8A]Adel Abdul - Mahdi[/url] , said that the caretaker government will hand over its duties to the [url=https://www.thebaghdadpost.com/ar/Story/t/989/%D8%B1%D8%A6%D9%8A%D8%B3 %D8%A7%D9%84%D8%AC%D9%85%D9%87%D9%88%D8%B1%D9%8A%D8%A9]President of the Republic[/url] on Thursday.
Wardah said in a press statement that "the next cabinet session will be held naturally, as it is within the legal constitutional terms," noting that "the constitutional period for the caretaker government officially ends next Thursday."
He explained that "in the event that there is no agreement on the nomination of the new candidate to head the next government, the current government is legally obliged to hand over the functions of the Council of Ministers to [url=https://www.thebaghdadpost.com/ar/Story/t/989/%D8%B1%D8%A6%D9%8A%D8%B3 %D8%A7%D9%84%D8%AC%D9%85%D9%87%D9%88%D8%B1%D9%8A%D8%A9]President of the Republic[/url] Barham Salih."
