The National Coalition led by Iyad Allawi, on Wednesday, the nomination of Muhannad al-Bayati, director of the Office of the President of the Front of Dialogue Saleh al-Mutlaq for the post of Minister of Defense.
"Muhannad al-Bayati is one of several candidates for the National Coalition," said the head of the parliamentary bloc of the coalition, Kazem al-Shammari, in a statement to Asharq Al-Awsat newspaper.
Al-Shammari added that "the most important thing is that we are waiting for the result of the appeal filed by Mr. Faisal al-Jarba, the candidate (national) who failed in parliament, on the way of counting votes."
The MP for the construction coalition Fadhil al-Fatawi confirmed in a previous statement to the / information /, that the former parliament speaker Salim al-Jubouri will not be acceptable to the Istazar defense and will be rejected by parliament as the separation of Djerba. Ending / 25
