Deputy: Parliament dropped the budget materials that stimulate the private sector and protect the local product

The member of the Finance Committee parliamentary Faisal al-Issawi , Tuesday, that what happened in the Kurdistan region in the overall budget does not exceed 8%, while noting that the parliament "dropped" material in the budget activates the private sector and protects the local producer and agricultural sector .
Issawi said in an interview for Alsumaria News, "The federal budget suffered from many problems when it reached the House of Representatives and most of these problems were related to foreign loans and spending is not directed at them," noting that "the Finance Committee has worked to cancel the foreign loans in full and kept the Interior only and direct Budget to service sectors that directly affect the citizen. "
Al-Issawi added that "the major problem that has been achieved in the budget is the dropping of articles 14, 19, 33 and 40, which were activating the private sector, protecting the local product, encouraging industries and protecting the agricultural sector." He pointed out that "dropping these materials is regrettable, Parliament and respect it. "
He continued, "What is rumored about the budget of the Kurdistan region and it exceeded 20 percent is not true and shame on the truth completely," explaining that "the total reached by the Kurdistan region of the budget of operational and investment budgets and allocations of Peshmerga and salaries does not reach ten trillion dinars out of a total of 133 trillion Dinars, that is less than 10% but not up to 8% of the federal budget.
The House of Representatives voted during its meeting, Wednesday (23 January 2019), on the Federal Budget Law for the fiscal year 2019.
