The Ministry of Transport announced on Wednesday that railway employees were given 20% of the nominal salary.
The ministry's media office said in a statement received by Mawazine News, a copy of it, that "the Minister of Transport Abdullah Laibi, approved today, to grant employees of the State Company for Iraqi Railways allocations of risk and 20% of nominal salary."
"The importance of the continued support of the ministry's staff in all fields, which will increase productivity and provide the best services for citizens," Al-Allaibi said, pointing out that "the railway sector workers hit them in the past and the ministry will work to provide all means of supporting them and seeking to develop the sector."
