    Studying the EU Foreign Ministers during their meeting scheduled for next Monday in Brussels, Belgium, the situation in Iraq.

    A
    European official said in Brussels on Saturday in a press statement
    that "the European Union has received calls from Iraq to contribute to
    thinking on reducing tensions in that country and the Union hopes to
    play a role to help stability and that the Ministers will exchange views
    but will not make any specific recommendations at this stage."

    "The
    European Union hopes to coordinate his moves with the United Nations
    and with the United Nations Mission in Iraq [us] and the European role,
    which began in 2003 and focuses on specific important pillars of good
    governance and the strengthening of institutions to develop critical
    sectors such as water and Agriculture".

    Iraq witnessed a
    political crisis resulted in the continuation of the popular
    demonstrations in the governorates of Anbar, Ninewa and Salah al-Din,
    demanding the release of prisoners and detainees and the issuance of the
    amnesty law and the abolition of the accountability and Justice Act
    [formerly the debaathification], article [4] terrorism and achieve
    balance and other demands..
