Former MP Abdul Hadi al-Hakim announced Tuesday that he visited the religious authority Ali al-Sistani and three other references after a series of meetings he held in Baghdad in the past few days for the three presidencies and a number of officials.
"On the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan, I was honored on Monday evening to visit the supreme authority Sayyed Grand Ayatollah al-Sistani," Hakim said on his Facebook page.
Hakim added, "I was also honored to visit the great ayatollahs: His Eminence the Grand Reverend Sayyed Muhammad Saeed Al-Hakim, and His Eminence Sheikh Mohammed Ishaq Al-Fayyad and His Eminence Sheikh Bashir Al-Najafi."
Hakim, known for his close proximity to the religious authority, did not disclose the talk he had with the four religious references he visited. Ending / 25
