The judiciary receives about 4000 cases of corruption from the Iraqi government and divides a thousand of them

The Supreme Council for Combating Corruption in Iraq revealed on Tuesday that it handed over nearly 4000 cases of financial and administrative corruption to the judiciary.
"More than 3,700 cases have been handed over to the judicial authorities," said Saad Yassin Mousa, a member of the Supreme Council for Combating Corruption. "So far, we have resolved about 925 cases. We are waiting for the rest of the cases to be resolved quickly."
"Through these issues we want to decide whether these (corrupt or accused of corruption) from the elite state director general and above or there are junior staff, or what?"
It is noteworthy that the federal government headed by Adel Abdul-Mahdi has formed a higher council to combat financial and administrative corruption rampant in the departments and institutions of the state.
