Energy: The government will grant citizens loans to generate electricity from solar energy

The adviser of the Prime Minister for Energy, Hussein Al-Henin, on Friday, the federal government's intention to build solar energy in the homes of citizens, pointing out that this trend includes smart meters and thermal insulation and solar air conditioners hybrid, a trend is not a substitute for the establishment of stations and rehabilitation of existing ones.
He said in a press statement that "there is a government tendency to urge citizens to buy solar energy applications through unspecified financial loans granted to them by the Iraqi Trade Bank TBI interest of these loans does not exceed 4%," adding that "the way it will be handled In the loans are the one-package system which includes (the company equipped, the bank lender, the citizen home owner), as well as strengthening the mobile network with smart meter.

"The models of the solar system in one house will be four levels according to the request of the citizen and his need and capacity, which at the latest will not exceed $ 5000 only at the highest rate of energy levels."
He added that "work is continuing with Siemens German and GE American and other companies to reach a stable electricity in the country during the next phase."
