    A local official in the province of Diyala, on Thursday, issued direct orders from Baghdad to increase water drainage from Sadat al-Azim, north of the province to 100 m 3 / s.
    Abdul Jabbar al-Obeidi, the director of Al-Azeem district (60 km north of Baquba) said in a statement to Al-Maalouma that the National Center for Water Resources Management in Baghdad issued direct orders to increase water drainage from Al-Azeem dam to 100 m3 / s instead of 75 m3 / s starting from the second of Noon today. ”
    "Farmers in the Great River Basin have been informed of the need to follow the rise in water, especially since most of them have pumps on the banks that may be affected by the increase," Obeidi said.
