    In a letter to the three presidencies, a number of businessmen in the private sector called for amending the Integrity Commission bill as currently proposed, which harms the work of the economy by hitting investment in the country.
    A number of businessmen said in an urgent message they sent to the three presidencies, and received / information /: “Yesterday evening, we saw a copy of the draft amendment to the Integrity Act sent herewith, and we are surprised that there are some proposed paragraphs that we assert that it will kill the investment, but will work to hit and destroy Investment system in [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] , and will lead to the migration of capital out of [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] .
    They stressed that "paragraphs of the bill confirms that they will be held accountable any businessman or investor and asked to prove documented and legal sources of access to his money with the presence of thousands of investors who have been working since the sixties and seventies of the last century, how can he document the work of 40 or 50 years?" .
    Businessmen were surprised by the lack of support for the private sector draft law of the Commission on Integrity, which was confirmed by the Iraqi Constitution in Article 25 of it.
    They called for "hosting a number of heads and members of unions and economic organizations representing the private sector to discuss the law with the legislative and executive bodies and address some of the paragraphs that will be extortion, threatening and bargaining for investors and the private sector." Finished 25 N
