    Baghdad - Mawazine News
, a member of the Iraqi Economic Council, Ghadeer Al-Attar, Thursday, called for the preparation of a study of all products imported to the country.
Al-Attar said in a statement, "Mawazine News / received a copy of it," "The relevant government agencies should prepare a study of industrial and agricultural products and raw materials imported to Iraq, while specifying the quantity of the importer, taking into consideration importing through the Kurdistan region."
Al-Attar said, "The study status comes to build a project on that and to issue investment opportunities to the private sector with a specific timetable by implementing a date that covers import taking into consideration 20% in addition to that."
And he stated that "the failure of any investor to commit to the implementation of the project during the agreed period is to take measures against him and impose fines if the failure is on his part."
Al-Attar attributed this to the fact that "these measures are to miss the opportunity on others and to draw a road map to cover the Iraqi market's need for the national product instead of the importer." End 29
