Political expert: Iraqi politicians agree with international officials to suppress the demonstrations

Political expert, Eric Davis, denounced the holding of meetings between international officials and Iraqi politicians, although they allowed the crackdown on demonstrators.
"How can Iraqi politicians who allow the killing of these precious young people by Iranian armed groups meet with officials from the international community and claim that Iraq is a democratic country?" Davis said in a Tweet on Twitter.
He explained, "The world knows that Iraqi politicians are responsible for the killing of these innocent martyrs and that there is no democracy in Iraq."
