According to the New York Times, the new defense systems in addition to Patriot include the Sea Ram system that is used against missiles and mortars, and the most advanced Avanger system that is capable of countering low-flying missiles and aircraft, including helicopters and drones.
The official said that the deployment of "Patriot" will contribute to countering the missiles, but that "the danger of attacks and across a new type remains."
He added that "the available security information does not exclude that these groups resort to reviving the tactics and methods of gangs, or what is known as death squads and the war of rebellions, through attempts to launch operations bearing the character of violent extremist groups."
