A member of the Parliamentary Finance Committee, Muhammad al-Shabki, confirmed, on Monday, that the 2021 budget will be presented to the leaders of the political blocs and the three presidencies before voting on it.
"The vote on the draft federal budget law for 2021 will take place next week," Al-Shibaki said in a statement to the agency, adding that the budget will be presented to the leaders of the three blocs and presidencies before being included in the vote inside the parliament.
He pointed out that "Parliamentary Finance does not want to present the budget for a vote without political consensus," noting that "the committee will finish its work at the end of this week, provided that the budget is presented next week."
The representative of the Al-Fateh Alliance, Mithaq Al-Hamdi, announced earlier today, Monday, that the government had received the final version of the budget bill, likely to be approved by the government and presented to a vote at the end of this week. Ended / 25 h
