Zidan: Some politicians do not respect the independence of the judiciary, and we do not agree to subject the appointment of positions with the approval of Parliament

Zidan said in a televised statement: "The Supreme Judicial Council does not agree with the subject of appointing some judicial positions with the approval of the House of Representatives."
He added, "The procedures for lifting immunity prevent taking legal measures against what is required of them to the judiciary," stressing that "the relationship between the three legislative, executive and judicial authorities is currently good based on mutual cooperation."
Zidan explained, "The tribal customs have positively contributed to resolving disputes between citizens in simple cases, and some of them have had a negative role in the security of citizens, the most prominent of which is the tribal system."
