    A statement to the court's information, the Euphrates News Agency received a copy of it, stated that the court “issued a decision on the lawsuit numbered 118 / Federal / 2019 on 5/2/2021 concerning the provincial councils and decided that Article 14 / First of Law No. 10 of 2018 is unconstitutional {Law of Amendment The third of the Law of Governorates not organized in a region No. 21 of 2008} concerning the continuation of the work of the provincial and district councils.
    Last Thursday, the Federal Supreme Court considered a lawsuit concerning the ruling requesting the unconstitutionality of several articles of the Law {Third Amendment to the Law of Governorates Not Organized in a Region} as amended No. (21) for the year (2008).
    The plaintiff fought his case with the Speaker of the House of Representatives in addition to his post, so the court decided, after reviewing the proceedings of the case, to postpone it to May 2 (today, Sunday) for the purpose of verification.
