On Thursday, the Parliamentary Labor and Social Affairs Committee announced its intention to legislate the Social Security and Retirement Law for workers during the upcoming sessions, noting that the bill will provide a pension for all workers.
The deputy head of the committee, Hussein Arab, said in a press interview, "The security law is one of the important laws that have a great role in creating pensions for the private and joint sectors."
Arab added, "The work committee has set up plans and mechanisms that will provide a pension similar to its government counterpart, according to what the worker receives according to deductions."
He pointed out that "all workers can apply to the retirement fund according to monthly retirement pensions deducted from it," noting that "this law encourages young people to go to the private sector."
