Shafaq News/ On Tuesday, the Muthanna Environment Directorate started a campaign to eliminate the phenomenon of livestock breeding inside the governorate's cities.
The director of Muthanna's environment, Youssef Al-Sudani, told Shafaq News Agency, "The aim of the campaign is to eliminate this uncivilized phenomenon, as well as to prevent the spread of communicable diseases that threaten human life."
He pointed out that "Article 33 of the Environmental Improvement Law prohibits raising livestock inside cities," noting that "there are financial fines that will be imposed on every person who does not cooperate with this campaign, in addition to filing a lawsuit to eliminate negative phenomena."
Al-Sudani called on citizens to cooperate with the Environment Directorate to make Iraq's environment more beautiful.
