Iraq and France are discussing opening courses to train fighters of the Counter-Terrorism Service

[rtl]In Baghdad / NINA / - The head of the Anti-Terrorism Service, Lieutenant General Abdul-Wahhab Al-Saadi, discussed with the French Chief of Staff, General Thierry Burkhard, the opening of courses to train the fighters of the apparatus.
And the agency said in a statement: "Al-Saadi met with the French chief of staff, accompanied by the French ambassador to Iraq, Eric Chevlet. During the meeting, they discussed the opening of courses in France to train fighters of the anti-terror agency in various fields related to special operations."
The head of the apparatus, according to the statement, valued the role of the French side and its continued support for the efforts of the Iraqi armed forces in their war against ISIS gangs.
Al-Saadi praised the "continuous air support and training that France provides to the ground military units," stressing that "this visit represents an important step to enhance cooperation and exchange of military expertise."
For his part, the Chief of Staff of the French Army praised the development that the forces of the Counter-Terrorism Service have reached in the aspects of intelligence, tactics and infrastructure.
Burkhard described the Counter-Terrorism Service as "pure Iraqi force."/End of 7[/rtl]
