Parliament is investigating the “Tishreen” victims and the disappeared and addresses the government to send the budget
Shafaq News/ Parliament Speaker Muhammad al-Halbousi approved, on Monday, the request of independent MP Sajjad Salem to form a temporary specialized committee to investigate the facts about the victims of the "October Revolution", the detainees and the disappeared.
A parliamentary source told Shafak News Agency, "The mission of the committee is to investigate the facts, identify the perpetrators, establish transitional justice, and remove all negative effects that resulted from the suppression of demonstrations."
In this context, Parliament Speaker Muhammad al-Halbousi directed the General Secretariat of the Council of Representatives to address the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers to send the federal budget for 2022, according to a brief statement by the Council’s media department.
