Shafaq News/ A political source revealed early on Sunday that a meeting was held, which he described as "important" for the State of Law coalition headed by former Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki.
The source told Shafak News Agency; "The leader of the State of Law coalition, Nuri al-Maliki, is holding an important meeting, today, with his coalition deputies."
He added that "the meeting will discuss the most important developments in the political arena and its latest developments."
He continued, "Al-Maliki's meeting with the lawmakers' coalition will discuss the dollar exchange rate file, in addition to distributing the coalition's deputies to the parliamentary committees."
The leader of the National Coalition, head of the Civil National Front, Iyad Allawi, said in a statement today, "The change in the dollar exchange rate came after consultations with all the blocs that participated in the government, and therefore the attempt to evade responsibility for this decision or throw it at others will not deceive the people."
