, Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government, Masrour Barzani, said, on Saturday, that "the people of Kurdistan will never give up their national rights and demands and live a free and dignified life."
In a statement seen by Mawazine News, Barzani said, "On the occasion of the anniversary of the glorious March uprising that erupted in 1991, I extend my warmest congratulations and blessings to all of Kurdistan, especially the brave Peshmerga and the families of the honorable martyrs."
He added, "The uprising constituted a historical turning point and a strong and influential message to the Kurdish people in rejecting oppression, occupation and oppression. Better Tomorrow".
He continued, "One of the most important messages of the 1991 uprising was that the people of Kurdistan would never give up their national rights and demands and live in a free and dignified life.
