The former deputy of the Al-Fateh Alliance, Fadel Al-Fatlawi, confirmed today, Tuesday, that well-known Kurdish companies are acquiring the tenders of the Ministry of Oil regarding investment oil projects in central and southern Iraq.

Al-Fatlawi told "The Information", "The Ministry of Oil's tenders are dominated by well-known Kurdish companies that have been working in the oil field for 17 years and have obtained the majority of investment projects in the southern and central governorates of the country."
He added, "The ministries bear the great responsibility in giving tenders for the distribution of the oil and electricity files to the Kurdish side," noting that "there is a defect, the lack of a correct vision, and the absence of real programs for the work of Kurdish companies."
The representative of the Al-Fateh Alliance explained that "the next government must reconsider all the important tenders obtained by Kurdish companies in oil and electricity projects, in addition to revealing all the sums given to these companies and whether they are really real sums, or there are big additions."
Al-Fatlawi called on “the committees in the House of Representatives to approach the relevant ministries such as oil, electricity and trade regarding the important tenders file acquired by the Kurdish side,” stressing the need for “there to be high transparency in discussing the performance of companies and monitoring their work away from political or national pressures.”
In a previous statement, the representative of the Al-Fateh Alliance, Muhammad Al-Baldawi, revealed the names of some companies operating in the center and the region affiliated with Masoud Barzani and Kurdish officials, including (Kar), (Othman Qader) and (Qaywan).
