[rtl]Today, Wednesday, the Ministry of Defense announced that Minister Juma Inad Saadoun had accepted the invitation he had received from his Turkish counterpart Hulusi Akar to participate in the EFES-2022 exercises.[/rtl]
[rtl]A statement by the ministry stated, "The Minister of Defense, Juma Inad Saadoun, received today, in his office at the ministry's headquarters, the Turkish military attache in Iraq, Colonel Koft Oxt, and his accompanying delegation," noting that "during the meeting, bilateral relations between the two countries were discussed ."[/rtl]
[rtl]The statement added that "the Turkish military attache handed over an invitation from Turkish Defense Minister Hulusi Akar to his Iraqi counterpart Jumaa Inad Saadoun, inviting him to attend the distinguished viewing day within the EFES-2022 maneuvers , which will be held next June of this year," noting that "The Minister welcomed the invitation submitted by his Turkish counterpart, and confirmed that it was accepted .[/rtl]
