[size=30]Electricity's promises to raise production to 25 gigabytes in the summer require a 450 percent increase in Iranian gas... Where will Iraq get the 70 million cubic meters from?

    Yes Iraq: Baghdad

The Ministry of Electricity continues to talk about adding new production capacities to the electrical system, but these additions may be “useless,” because they are adding production capacities to stations that do not have fuel to operate.
Iraq's production last year amounted to about 21 thousand megawatts, more than 6,500 thousand megawatts of which were operated by importing 50 million cubic meters of Iranian gas, and with its decrease from 50 to 8 million cubic meters, Iraq lost about 6 thousand megawatts of Its production, to a production of only 15 thousand megawatts.
Last March, the Ministry of Electricity announced the return of Iranian gas pumping to 20 million cubic meters, which represents a return of only 40% of the total quantity, thus raising Iraq's production to 16 thousand megawatts.
The Ministry of Electricity has the possibility of producing 21,000 megawatts, with sufficient stations for this production, but the matter needs to return to pumping Iranian gas with more than 50 million cubic meters, which has not been achieved so far.

Efforts to raise production to 25 thousand megawatts!
Recently, the ministry’s spokesman, Ahmed Moussa, said that “the ministry will introduce about 4,500 new megawatts to the system,” noting that “the ministry seeks to reach 25,000 megawatts.”
He revealed the existence of strategic lines linking the governorates, as well as the completion of the 400 lines of high pressure, and they will enter service on May 1, and it is among the preparations for the summer season.
He continued, "The ministry's efforts in the distribution sector are great in removing bottlenecks, changing the hours of transformers, creating feeders, installing mobile stations in some pregnancy centers and strengthening distribution networks," expressing his hope to provide the ministry with financial liquidity and fuel supplies for the stations to offer a different summer than last season.
Regarding the Chinese loan, Moussa stressed that “the Salah al-Din thermal station with a capacity of 1630 megawatts has entered work for the first obstetric unit with a capacity of 615 megawatts within the Chinese agreement, and it is supposed to enter the second obstetric unit in the coming months.”
And he indicated that "there is work on the Anbar gas plant and some transformational stations for electricity within the loan of the Chinese agreement."

    Iranian gas should rise 450%!
According to a statement by the Ministry of Electricity, the ministry added 4,500 megawatts of new capabilities, in addition to the previous capabilities of about 21,000 megawatts, so that the ministry could produce 25,000 megawatts this summer, but this depends on the pumping of Iranian gas, which is still at 20 million cubic metres.
In the event that Iran completely re-pumps the previous amount of 50 million cubic meters, the ministry will be able to reproduce it for the past year, which amounted to about 21,000 megawatts, but according to the new plan and the addition of 4,500 megawatts, the total production will be 25,000 megawatts, which means the need to add 38 million cubic meters of Iranian gas, in addition to completely restoring the previous pumping of 50 million cubic meters, so that the total Iranian pumping of gas is about 90 million cubic meters, while at the present time it is only 20 million cubic meters, meaning that the rise of Iranian gas should be By 450% in order to achieve the production that the Ministry of Electricity is talking about, and it is not known whether this condition will be met.
