Shafaq News/ A government source revealed on Monday that the salaries of retirees for the month of May will not include the 100,000 dinars grant.
The source said in an interview with Shafaq News Agency, who asked not to be named, "until today, the General Retirement Department has not been notified of the date of distributing the salaries of retirees for the next month of May," expecting that "they will be distributed at the end of this week."
The source added that "the pensioners' salaries will not include the 100,000 dinars grant under the name "the high cost of living grant" for retirees who receive pension salaries below 500 thousand dinars that were distributed during the month of April," stressing that "the Cabinet's decision in this regard is to distribute it for one month only. ".
It is noteworthy that the Council of Ministers decided last April to distribute a grant of 100,000 dinars with the salary for the month of April to retirees who receive pension salaries below 500 thousand dinars.
