    Information / Diyala.
The economic expert, Riyadh Al-Khashali, confirmed, on Monday, that the pace of the closure of Iraqi factories increased by 10% during the time of the Al-Kazemi government.
Al-Khashali said in an interview with Al-Information, that "Diyala and the rest of the provinces include hundreds of factories, factories and industrial workshops, but unfortunately without real support from all successive governments after 2003 for various reasons, the most prominent of which is the neglect of a vital sector and the dumping of imported markets and the absence of any real policy to protect the national product. “.
He added, "The pace of the closure of Iraqi factories increased by 10% during the time of the Al-Kazemi government, which committed 3 successive mistakes by raising the price of the dollar, the lack of any control over the markets, and the continuation of smuggling from Kurdistan without any restrictions."
He pointed out that "all the promises of the Al-Kazemi government to create a national industry have gone unheeded," noting that "the economic crisis in Iraq has deepened and the situation has become very difficult and critical."
Diyala had recently lost many factories, which closed their doors due to the lack of any support for them. Ended 25 Feb
