The former Speaker of Parliament, Salim al-Jubouri, announced, on Monday, the holding of a meeting that included a number of leaders of the liberated areas, to discuss the political situation and the crises the country is going through.
Al-Jubouri's office said in a statement received by Earth News, that the gathered leaders included Saleh Al-Mutlaq, Jamal Al-Karbouli, Osama Al-Nujaifi, Mahmoud Al-Mashhadani and Salim Al-Jubouri, noting that "the participants discussed the political situation, the crises that the country is going through, the issues of the liberated areas and their current status with regard to service and humanitarian files and the security situation." and economic.”
