A member of the Political Bureau of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, Hoshyar Zebari, said on Tuesday that the Sadrist movement's protest in front of the Supreme Judicial Council and then their peaceful withdrawal "conveyed the required message."
Zebari wrote on his Twitter account, saying, "The Sadrist movement's sit-in today in front of the Supreme Judicial Council and then its peaceful withdrawal, delivered the required message. The Iraqis, the rational reference and its representatives have repeatedly demanded reform of the judiciary."
He pointed out that "the judiciary must be impartial and impartial and not double standards, and that it should stand at the same distance in action and not in words, for the constitution is the reference."
