Today, Friday, the President of the Republic, Barham Salih, directed an increase in the allocations of the Social Protection Authority in the upcoming budgets in order to expand the base of inclusion.
The authority stated in a statement, that "the President of the Republic received the Head of the Social Protection Authority, Sana al-Moussawi, where the latter provided a detailed explanation of the mechanism of inclusion of beneficiaries of social assistance and the criteria used in selecting and auditing names by the Ministry of Planning, this came during her reception by the President of the Republic, Dr. Barham Salih on Thursday, 22-9-2022.
She added, "During the meeting, the services provided by the authority to the poor classes of society were discussed."
She indicated, "While President Saleh commended the efforts made by the commission in serving the poor and fragile classes in society, he directed to increase the commission's allocations in future budgets in order to expand the base of inclusion."
