, Minister of Agriculture, Muhammad Karim al-Khafaji, directed, on Thursday, to launch the preparation of seeds and fertilizers for farmers and to receive the yellow corn crop from farmers and farmers.
And the ministry stated in a statement that Mawazine News received a copy of it, that "the Minister of Agriculture chaired a meeting of the National Seed Council, and in the presence of agents and advisors of the ministry, general managers of the ministry's departments and companies, as well as representatives of seed producers of higher ranks of farmers and a number of specialists."
At the beginning of the meeting, the minister stressed that "the ministry has prepared all the requirements of the current agricultural season of fertilizers and seeds, according to the agricultural plan," stressing that "the preparation of seeds and fertilizers for farmers and farmers, according to the agricultural plan of four million acres, one million five hundred thousand acres on surface irrigation, which approved The Ministry of Water shall provide the water necessary for its implementation, as well as two million five hundred thousand acres of an agricultural plan on wells from groundwater.”

He pointed out that the amount allocated for dunams is 50 kg, indicating that the support for the sale of seeds will be 50%.
The statement added, "The meeting studied the paragraphs listed on its agenda and took the necessary decisions regarding them, including receiving the yellow corn crop from farmers and farmers at the subsidized price of 500 thousand dinars, and selling grain to poultry breeders at an amount of 400,000 dinars and with 50% support. The meeting was also obligated to receive the Mesopotamia Company The General Seeds and the Iraqi Company for Seed Production have full storage capacity of this crop, after which it is allowed to receive the surplus quantities by the special laboratories for drying maize, and the meeting also voted on the recommendations for the mechanism of distributing seeds of higher grades at subsidized prices.
