Shafaq News / The First Deputy Speaker of the Iraqi Parliament, Mohsen Al-Mandalawi, threatened, on Wednesday, Turkey with a "different position" in the event that Turkish attacks continue and water cut off from the country, noting that the continuation of this would disturb the historical relations between Baghdad and Ankara and harm common interests.

Al-Mandalawi called, according to the statement, to "quickly resolve the water file once and for all in a way that guarantees Iraq's full water rights in the Tigris and Euphrates rivers," noting that "the continuation of Turkish aggression and water cuts would disturb the historical relations between the two friendly peoples, and harm the common interests between the two countries." ".
According to the statement, it was agreed on the necessity of "forming joint technical committees between the two countries in coordination with the ministries of interior and foreign affairs and the concerned authorities to deal with important files, including those related to facilitating the granting of entry visas (visa) to both sides."
At the conclusion of the meeting, Al-Mandalawi indicated that "the House of Representatives will have a different position if the previous attacks, which claimed the lives of a number of Iraqi citizens, were repeated."
