The former head of the Anti-Terrorism Service, Lieutenant General Talib Shaghati, commented on the news that indicated that a recruitment request had been issued for him from the Integrity Commission, confirming that he was in Baghdad.
In a statement, Shaghati said, "I was, and still am, since the first day I worked in the military establishment, keen to be the owner of achievement and impact that deserves the titles that I have achieved throughout the previous years in this ancient name," explaining, "Perhaps I started establishing the Anti-Terrorism Service after 2003 and managing it for years."
