The Labor, Immigration and Displaced Persons Parliamentary Committee announced, on Tuesday, that the retirement and social security law is in its final stages, and will be voted on within a month.
Committee member Hussein Arab said, "The committee finished the second reading of the Retirement and Social Security Law, after taking some notes from deputies, trade unions, and unions," noting that "the law is in its final stages, and will be submitted to the House of Representatives for a vote."
Arab added, in an interview with the official news agency, that "the law stems from a specific vision, and most of the proposals aim to benefit citizens," adding that "the law will be voted on, and it will see the light within a month."
