Mr. Ammar al-Hakim, head of the National Wisdom Movement, met with the Ambassador of the United States of America, Her Excellency Mrs. Elena Romanisky, stressing the importance of strengthening relations between Baghdad and Washington in all fields, activating the provisions of the strategic framework agreement between the two countries, and perpetuating proactive security work to strike the nests of terrorism.
Al-Hakim also discussed with Romanisky cooperation in the field of energy to develop Iraq's potential in the field of oil, gas and renewable energy, while working to solve the problems of climate and environmental change.
Noting that Iraq offers promising investment opportunities in the field of construction and reconstruction and deals with everyone on the basis of common interests and the preservation of its sovereignty.
Al-Hakim called for organizing the relationship between Iraq and the International Coalition to Combat Terrorism within the Iraqi security agreements with the International Coalition and activating all the agreements that took place in the mutual visits between the two sides, stressing the importance of developing the Iraqi banking system and adopting automation and governance in Iraqi commercial dealings.
