    {Politics: Al Furat News} The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Antiquities, Nofal Abu Ragheef, met with the Chinese Deputy Chargé d'Affaires Jian Fangning and the accompanying delegation, in his office at the Ministry's headquarters.
    A statement by Abu Ragheef's media office, of which {Euphrates News} received a copy, stated, "The meeting included a review of the process of communication and joint exchange in the cultural and heritage fields between the two sides, and ways to enhance them and coordinate in the field of cultural activities and heritage, due to the ancient and extended civilizational and heritage heritage that both sides possess."
    In this meeting, Abu Ragheef emphasized "the importance of cultural integration in the Iraqi-Chinese relations and keeping pace with the rich culture of the two sides," expressing "his happiness at the visit of the Chinese delegation and his keenness to draw inspiration from the Iraqi heritage and mutual cooperation in a manner commensurate with the importance of relations between the two countries."
    For his part, Jian Fangning praised "the Iraqi cultural interaction and the cooperation of the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Antiquities in supporting cultural visions, stressing the Chinese embassy's constant endeavor to enhance ways of joint cooperation with Iraq and raise that to broader horizons."
    At the end of the meeting, it was emphasized to maintain communication and follow up the joint cultural file at a higher pace, and the Chinese charge d'affaires presented a number of publications translated into Arabic on the cultural and heritage history of the People's State of China.
