According to the statement, the President of the Republic, at the outset of the meeting, expressed his condolences and deep sorrow for the victims of the earthquake that struck several cities in Turkey, stressing that the earthquake was a painful tragedy for everyone, not only for Turkey, hoping that the Turkish people would quickly overcome its effects, and the minister conveyed his greetings to the Turkish President. . The President of the Republic also touched on the dangers facing Iraq as a result of the decrease in the proportion of water flowing across the borders, desertification and drought, as well as the lack of rain and its negative repercussions on the overall life of Iraqis, especially the agricultural sector.
