Minister of Finance, Taif Sami Muhammad, discussed with the ambassadors of France and Britain to Iraq joint cooperation in the financial, economic and investment sectors.
And the Ministry of Finance stated, in a statement that Mawazine News received a copy of, that “Finance Minister Taif Sami Muhammad received, in two separate meetings, the Ambassador of the Republic of France, Eric Chevalier, and the United Kingdom’s Ambassador to Baghdad, Mark Bryson. The two meetings dealt with ways to consolidate joint cooperation between Iraq on the one hand. And between the French and British sides, on the other hand, and building partnerships to promote sustainable development in the financial, economic and investment sectors.
The Minister of Finance expressed the Iraqi government's aspiration to more fruitful and constructive cooperation with the international community for the benefit of friendly peoples.
While the two ambassadors expressed their thanks and appreciation to the Minister of Finance for receiving her and her clear efforts in strengthening and following up relations with the two friendly countries.
