    Arrangements are currently under way to carry out a giant investment project on the border between Iraq and Jordan. The Iraqi-Jordanian Industrial Company announced that an international invitation has been made to attract a developer for the planned city to carry out studies, designs, engineering plans, and complete development work.

    added Allocated from the lands of Jordan and Iraq on the borders to enhance economic cooperation between them, and to form a nucleus for achieving Arab economic integration in a number of fields, thus maximizing the benefit from the available opportunities.[/rtl]

    [rtl] He added, in a statement to the Oman News Agency, that the project aims to bring about the required development in the eastern regions of Iraq and the western regions of Jordan, reduce unemployment, revitalize the logistical sectors, increase exports, and meet the needs of the two countries' markets for various commodities, indicating that the city will be[/rtl]

    He explained that the city will include industrial, commercial and logistical components and develop the world of business, finance, education, health, transportation, housing, construction, infrastructure, green spaces and the environment, expecting work to develop the project during the first quarter of next year.[/rtl]
