Today, Monday, under the supervision of the President of the Kurdistan Region, Nechirvan Barzani, an expanded meeting was held between a high-level delegation of the International Coalition headed by the Commander-in-Chief of the Coalition Forces in Iraq and Syria, General Matthew McFarlane, and the Ministry of Peshmerga Affairs and the relevant agencies in the Kurdistan Region.
The meeting, which was attended by the US Consul General in the Kurdistan Region, discussed the process of reorganization and reform in the Peshmerga forces and evaluated the stages of implementing the reform plan within the framework of the agreement concluded between the Ministry of Peshmerga Affairs and the US Department of Defense, and also discussed the obstacles and challenges facing the process of unifying and reorganizing the Peshmerga forces in modern ways in Under the Ministry of Peshmerga Affairs.
