    After what was published by (Baghdad Today) earlier, the Iraqi Trade Bank announced today, Tuesday, that the amounts deducted from the loans for the month of April will be returned to the employees’ accounts. 
    And (Baghdad Today) had published earlier, the appeal of a number of employees who expressed their anger at the failure of the Iraqi Trade Bank to comply with the government decision to stop deducting the installment of advances and loans for the month of April on the occasion of Eid Al-Fitr .

    Employees confirmed that the Iraqi Trade Bank  (TBI)  violated the Prime Minister's decision and did not comply with it, and deducted the loan installment from employees for the month of April, according to posts and comments monitored by "Baghdad Today " . 
    The employees confirmed that they had received their salaries for this month, and the installment of advances and loans were deducted from their salaries by the Trade Bank of Iraq, contrary to the government decision that exempts employees and retirees from deducting the installment of advances and loans for the month of April .
    Al-Sudani's office had sent a letter to the Central Bank of Iraq, titled "Stop Deduction . "
    The book stated that based on the Prime Minister's directive to take the necessary measures regarding directing government and private banks to stop deducting employee advances for this month only on the occasion of Eid Al-Fitr .

    Today, Tuesday, the Iraqi Trade Bank announced that the amounts deducted from April loans will be returned to employee accounts.
    The bank's media advisor, Aqil Al-Shuwaili, said in a statement, "In implementation of the directives of Prime Minister Muhammad Shia'a Al-Sudani and the Central Bank of Iraq, to ​​stop deducting employee loans on the occasion of Eid Al-Fitr, the deduction of loan installments for the current month of April 2023 has been stopped."
    And he continued, "The bank proceeded to cancel the deduction of the amounts of the current April payments that were deducted at the beginning of the month automatically through the electronic banking system, and return the amounts to the accounts of the borrowing employees."
