Today, Wednesday, the head of the Parliamentary Rights Bloc, Representative Saud Al-Saadi, directed questions to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs regarding Kuwait’s encroachment on Iraqi lands, waters, and wealth.
Al-Saadi mentioned, in a statement received by (Baghdad Today): "What is the total number of cases of transgression by Kuwait on Iraqi lands and waters for the period from the date of issuance of Security Council Resolution No. (2621) on February 22, 2022?"
He asked about "the number of oil wells located within the Iraqi borders or within the economic zone that Kuwait has encroached on and the measures taken by you."
Al-Saadi added: "Did the Ministry of Foreign Affairs conclude an agreement with Kuwait regarding the optimal use of the oil fields shared between the two parties and the sharing of revenues?"
He continued, "What are the measures taken by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and by a committee?"
