[rtl]The office of the Prime Minister, Muhammad Shia'a al-Sudani, announced the signing of an oil memorandum of understanding between Iraq and Iran, while revealing its details.[/rtl]
[rtl]A statement from the office stated that "Al-Sudani received the Minister of Oil of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Javad Oji."[/rtl]
[rtl]The statement added, "The meeting discussed the overall cooperation relations between Iraq and Iran, and ways to develop them for the benefit of the two friendly peoples, and to enhance the ability of the two countries in facing global economic challenges."[/rtl]
[rtl]He continued, "Al-Sudani sponsored the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the Iraqi and Iranian ministries of oil, which was signed by Oil Minister Hayan Abdul-Ghani on the Iraqi side, and Jawad Oji on the Iranian side."[/rtl]
[rtl]And that "the memorandum included organizing aspects of cooperation to invest in the joint oil fields located on the borders between the two countries, and cooperation in the fields of crude oil extraction, refining and refining, and technological transactions with associated gas."[/rtl]
[rtl]He pointed out, "The memorandum concluded between the two sides also included strengthening cooperation between the two countries in the field of petrochemical industries, and in the field of training and qualifying staff working in the oil and gas sectors."[/rtl]
