Our previous experiences were also fluctuating between success and failure, or between the two, and among these funds that the Iraqis know The Housing Fund, which grants its loans to those wishing to build a housing unit, according to conditions and criteria through which the Fund seeks to ensure that the loan goes on the right track, and also to ensure its recovery.As for the development aspect, the funds in this field are scarce, due to the novelty of dealing with them, and we refer to that to the Affected Areas Reconstruction Fund, which was established in 2015, and the Dhi Qar Reconstruction Fund, which was established in 2021, and these two funds carry out their activities in a specific geographical area for each of them, and therefore The reality needs other funds at the regional, specialized and national level. Therefore, the tripartite budget law (2023-2025) included the establishment of a number of new funds, foremost of which is (Iraq Fund for Development) with a financial allocation of (1) trillion dinars and aims to improve the investment environment. In Iraq, as well as the establishment of the Fund for the Reconstruction of the Poorest Provinces, with the allocation of (500) billion dinars, and this fund is of great importance, because it will contribute to curbing the rising poverty in the country, by achieving development in poor areas.
