    Baghdad today - Baghdad
The management of the Iraq International Festival announced today, Wednesday (September 27, 2023), the postponement of the launch of the festival’s ceremony scheduled for next Friday, in mourning for the victims of the “Hamdaniya Fire” in the city of Mosul.
The administration said in a tweet on the “X” platform, followed by “Baghdad Today,” that “the ceremony has been postponed until the third of next month.”
On September 25, 2023, the administration announced the completion of preparations for the largest and first honoring project for Arab artists in Baghdad, within the “Iraq International Festival,” which was scheduled for September 28/29 of this month, with the support of the Prime Minister and the sponsorship of the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Antiquities.

The festival will award prizes to a large group of Arab artists and actors by giving them an honorary shield designed by the Iraqi sculptor Ahmed Al-Bahrani. It will be broadcast on all Iraqi television channels and will include many surprises.
