On Monday, Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani stressed the need for arming the Iraqi forces to be in accordance with the requirements of the current stage, while he reviewed the plans and programs for arming the Supreme Armament Committee.[/size]
[size=45]Al-Sudani’s media office said in a statement, “Prime Minister Muhammad Shia’ al-Sudani chaired, this Monday evening, the second meeting of the Supreme Armaments Committee.”[/size]
[size=45]He added that Al-Sudani “during the meeting, was briefed on the arming plans and programs prepared by the committee, in addition to the priorities adopted in arming the security forces of their various types and formations. The meeting also witnessed a review of the procedures related to the Prime Minister’s directive regarding the lands for the camps.”[/size]
[size=45]Al-Sudani stressed “the necessity of arming the security forces in accordance with the current stage and its requirements, and based on the government’s plans to develop the capabilities of the Iraqi forces, in order to perform their tasks in the best possible way[/size]
