The price of the dollar fell against the Iraqi dinar exchange rate, reaching 156,500 Iraqi dinars against 100 US dollars.
The Al-Maalouma correspondent said that the Al-Kifah and Al-Harithiya central stock exchanges recorded an exchange rate of 156,500 Iraqi dinars for 100 US dollars.
He added that the dollar exchange rates in banking shops and local markets, where the selling price reached 157,500 dinars, while the purchasing price reached 155,500 dinars per 100 dollars.
It is noteworthy that the sanctions imposed by the US financial authorities on 14 Iraqi banks led to a rise in the price of the dollar because these banks are part of the process of financing the local market with hard currency. Ended / 25
